Bella Roba Boutique, in Wheaton, IL, is a unique concept store featuring high-style luxury clothing, artisan jewelry, antiques, custom painted and upholstered furniture, décor, gifts and one of a kind found items. Goods are sourced locally and internationally, and meticulously considered for quality and beauty.
Bella Roba is housed in a 1930s restored building at 104 N. Hale Street in historic downtown Wheaton. The interior was completely transformed by owner Stacy Jansen and designer consultant Mary Augustyn to reflect an old-world elegant simplicity with an energetic modern twist. The exterior, recently a dated shoe storefront, now sits as the most beautiful new building in the area. Custom designed “Juliette” balconies, European shutters, and fluttering awnings grace Hale Street.
Owner Stacy Jansen is a renowned jewelry designer. She works with precious and semi- precious stones and creates each piece by hand. Stacy is also a painter and features her work on bold modern canvases throughout the store. Other goods to browse include Italian cashmere sweaters, French, hand poured candles, furniture of walnut, old iron and marble, antique books and steamer trunks, and a bounty of other treasures. Ms Jansen also considers the most environmentally conscience solutions when selecting merchandise as well as the building itself.
The concept behind Bella Roba began simply; “Beautiful Things” of luxury and style in a stunning environment. Shopping should be a beautiful experience.
Bella Roba opens June 24, 2013. For information contact Ms. Stacy Jansen at StacyJansen19@gmail.com.
